Conventional and Addressable

Conventional systems are installed for the more basic type of fire detection systems and are primarily for shops and small office blocks and designed on a zonal basis. Analogue addressable systems can be highly sophisticated fire detection systems making it extremely versatile and easy to use, giving you individual detector information and location. With advanced technology it gives you increased and trouble free fire detection.

High Sensitivity Vesda Aspiration

These systems consist of a computer-designed network of sampling pipework covering the protected area, with drilled sample holes at the required locations as per the design specification. Air is continually drawn into the pipe network by an internal aspirator, a sample of the air is filtered and then enters the detection chamber.

The air sample is then exposed to a light source, any light scattered by smoke will be detected and the output signal is then displayed onto an illuminating bar-graph depending on the amount of smoke detected. Alarm levels and time delays are then set at the commissioning stage to suit the earliest response without causing nuisance alarms.
